President Saleh invites Italian counterpart to visit Yemen

SANA’A, June 9 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh invited his Italiancounterpart Carlo Azeglio Ciampi to visit Yemen. In a farewell meeting with the outgoing Italian Ambassador to Sana’a JiacomoSanfelice Di Manteforte, President Saleh discussed with him the bilateralrelations and spoke highly of Manteforte’s efforts to strengthen the Yemeni-Italian ties.
