President Saleh inspects Cement Factory Project

MUKALLA, Jan. 15 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh paid a visit to Cement Factory Project of Cement Arab Company in Howeirah area. The president get informed about the ongoing work to carry out the project. The productive capacity is expected to reach to million ton a year inthe first phase. The project, which costs US$ 260 million, will start production next year. This visit of the president came in the framework his encouragement to such investments in a number of governorate. He directed concerned authorities on motivating investors to accomplish the projects announces about, whether cements or others, stressing on the importance of carrying out such projectsfor they assimilate huge number of working hands. He directed also the concerned authorities and investors to assimilate Yemeni labors in such projects. MS/TN SABA
