President Saleh holds talks with Somali president

KHARTOUM,(Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh on Monday held talks at his residency in the Sudanese capital Khartoum with the Somali president Abdullah Yusef Ahmad on the current developments in Somalia and the Horn of Africa. The Somali President informed President Saleh over the under way procedures for restoring peace, security and stability to Somalia, especially under the newly elected government. Yusef underlined Somalia’s wish to join to the Sana’a Congregation for enhancing the cooperation and peace in the Horn of Africa region. President Saleh confirmed the Yemeni support for Somalia and its leadership for rebuilding and restoring peace and stability there as well as the role of the Arab League and the Horn of Africa in rebuilding Somalia.
