President Saleh heads for KSA before London and Paris

SANA’A, Nov. 14(Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh left on Tuesday to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in a tour including Britain and France. President Saleh will carry out talks with the King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz on means of boosting bilateral relations and preparations for the donors’ conference in London scheduled Wednesday, November 15-16. The role of the Kingdom in the conference as an active member in the Gulf Cooperation Council will top talks on how to make Yemeni-Gulf economic integration. “Our visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia comes in line with continuous contacts between the two leaderships to develop brotherly cooperation relations and to echnage stances towards different issues,” said president Saleh upon departure. We highly appreciate the interest of King Abdullah bin Abdull-Aziz to support Yemen’s development and to path the way to get Arab-Arab and Arab-Islamic solidarity, said Saleh. The president will also visit France where he will hold talks with Jacques Chirac over means to strengthen Yemeni-French partnership as well as the developments in Middle East and Horn Africa. NS/NS
