President Saleh, FBI Director discuss terror fight
WASHINGTON, June 8 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh met on Tuesday the FBI Director Robert Mueller and discussed with him the American-Yemeni cooperation to fight terror. Mueller praised Yemen’s achieved success in uprooting the scourge saying Yemen is among the pioneering countries of the region in winning the battle against terrorism. President Saleh, in return, said Yemen was reaffirmed to stay the course and support the international efforts in this realm. He, however, renewed Yemen’s demands of the extradition of Sheikh M. al-Moayyad, his personal aid Mohammed Zayed, Abdul-Rahman al-Amoudi, Abdul-Salam al-Heelah and all Yemeni detainees in Guantanamo. The talks were attended by Abdul-Kareem al-Eryani the Political Advisor of President, Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qerbi and senior other Yemeni officials and the American Ambassador to Yemen Edmund J.
