President Saleh expresses sympathy over Beslan massacre

SANA’A,(Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh sent on Saturday a cable of condolence and sorrow to the Russian president Vladimir Putin for the massacre of Beslan. President Saleh said in his letter that “we have followed the events of holding hundreds of hostages with a number of children by terrorists in Beslan that ended with a toll of victims. We express our sympathy with the Russian people and families of victims. We strongly condemn terrorist acts that are refused in all religions and against human values, Saleh said. Saleh affirmed Yemen is keen to enhance its friendly relations with Russia. JW/NS SABA
