President Saleh: Defense institution is symbol of unity

SANA’A, March 06 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh said that the defense and security institution is possession of the people and symbol of their national unity. During his inspection visit on Thursday to the Republican Guards Training Center, Saleh highlighted the national role of this great institution in defending the homeland and protecting its achievements, security, stability and democratic approach. He inspected conditions of the employees of the center and acquainted himself with training and qualification programs, urging them for more scientific qualification and practical training for acquisitioning fighting skills and promoting their capabilities. He noted leadership’s concern of specific building of fighters and good and improved preparation of them, indicating the role of educational institutes and training centers in this field. MS/AM Saba
