President Saleh congratulates Swedish King

SANA’A, June 03 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh sent on Sunday a cable of congratulations to the King of Sweden Carl Gustaf on the celebrations on the National Day of Sweden. Swedish people will celebrate their National Day for the second time since it has become a public holiday. June 6 was marked the Swedish national day in 1983 and was previously known as Swedish flag day. But the Swedish parliament designated June 6 a public holiday in only in 2005 to encourage people to celebrate being Swedish. YA/NS
