President Saleh congratulates Sudanese counterpart

SANA’A, July 9 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh sent on Saturday a cable of good wishes to his Sudanese counterpart Omar Hassan al-Bashiron signing a power-sharing constitution with John Garang in Sudan’s capital,Khartoum. President Saleh expressed pleasure that the Garang, the leader of Sudan Peoples’ Liberation Movement, has been sworn in as Sudan’s vice-president, hoping that the peace agreement has ended the two decades of bitter civilwar.
