President Saleh congratulates Sarkozy

SANA’A, May 07(Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh has sent a congratulation cable to Nicolas Sarkozy, France’s newly-elected President. In the cable, President Saleh gave President Sarkozy best congratulations on winning the French people’s confidence to elect him a new President of France. President Saleh praised the excellent level of friendly cooperation relations between Yemen and France in all fields and said Yemen is looking forward for more cooperation with France under the leadership of Sarkozy. “The Yemeni people don’t forget the French supporting stand towards the Yemeni unification, democracy and development and we hope to get more strong ties with France”, said president Saleh.
