President Saleh congratulates newly elected Lebanese President

BEIRUT, May 25 (Saba)- Lebanese President Michel Soleiman met on Sunday in Beirut foreign Affairs Minister Abu Bakr al-Qirbi who conveyed to him President Ali Abdullah Saleh’s congratulations on the occasion of electing him President of Lebanon. During the meeting, President Soleiman highly valued Yemen’s efforts which were exerted to resolve the latest crisis in Lebanon and its contribution within the Arab committee to reach an agreement for tackling the crisis, expressing his thanks and appreciation for Yemen and its leadership.
