President Saleh congratulates new Argentine president

SANA’A, (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh has congratulated Ms Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner on winning the presidential elections in Argentina. In his cable to Ms Fernandez, President Saleh said: “I extend to you, and on behalf of Yemen’s government and people, best congratulations on your victory in the presidential elections. This speaks of the Argentine people’s confidence in your leadership. I also get the opportunity to confirm the keenness of the Republic of Yemen on developing mutual cooperation relations with Argentine in various fields to serve common interests.” President Saleh wished Ms Fernandez best success in the coming stage of development in Argentine and for Argentine and Yemeni peoples more progress and prosperity.
