President Saleh congratulates German president upon reelection

SANA’A, May 24 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh sent Sunday a cable of congratulation to his German counterpart Horst Köhler upon his reelection as President of the German Federal Republic. In the cable, president Saleh wished Köhler every success in his second term and the German people further progress and prosperity. Germany’s President Horst Köhler won a second five-year term on Saturday after he secured the required majority by a single vote in the first round of voting by a special parliamentary assembly.
