President Saleh calls Sudanese, Saudi leaders

SANA’A, May 11 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh held on Sunday evening a telephone conversation with the Sudanese President Omer Hassan al-Bashir. President got assured about the situations in Sudan in the wake of the latest developments which took place in Khartoum and Umm Durman. He confirmed his condemnation of all attempts intended to unsettle Sudanese security and stability and his stand by Sudan to defend its security, stability, sovereignty, unity and non-intervention in Sudanese internal affairs by any side whoever. On the other side, President Saleh received a telephone conversation from King of Saudi Arabia Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz al Saud in which the two leaders discussed brotherly ties and the latest Arab developments, particularly the latest developments in Lebanon, Palestine and Iraq. The two leaders confirmed their common concern on security and stability of Lebanon and its national unity and non-intervention in Lebanese internal affairs by any one whoever. NN/AM Saba
