President Saleh calls Mubarak on Fatah and Hamas

SANA’A , (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh carried a call phone on Friday with Egyptian president Muhammad Husni Mubarak to change views towards the situation in Palestine. The two leaders discussed confirmed their interest to settle the difference between Palestinian two movements Fatah and Hamas and bring them back to dialogue on the base of Cairo accord in 2005 and Mecca accord in 2007. We have to shoulder our responsibility and help brothers in Palestine avoid disputes with serve only the interests of the Israeli occupation, said Saleh. President Saleh urged in a meeting with head of Hamas political leader Khalid Mashaal last week the Palestinian factions to form a new Palestinian unity government and reforming the national security units. Mashaal and then Ismael Haniya of Hamas movement have welcomed the Yemeni initiative and confirmed their believe that dialogue is the best way to go out of the current bad situation. Fatah spokesman Ahmed Abdul-Rahman announced the movement acceptance of Yemen’s initiative and any initiative aims to an put end for the current impasse.But Abdul-Rahman reiterated Fatah is adherent to its conditions before any talks with Hamas.
