President Saleh backs home
SANA’A April 28 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh returned home on Thursday after a visit to Southern Korea and Malaysian Kingdom lasted several day. During the visit, President Saleh hold talks in the Korean capital Seoul with his Korean counterpart Roh Moo-hyun focused on the bilateral relations and fields of the common concern in the various political and economic, trade and investmental levels. They also disussed the latest regional and international issues of commonconcern on top of which the situations in Iraq and Palestine and peace process in Middle East and the international efforts in fighting terrorism. During the visit, Saleh delivered speech in Seoul University focused on methodology the Yemeni unification in 22 May 1990 and the challenges faced Yemen before announcing the Unification. On the other hand, President Saleh paid visit to the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur and held talks with the Malaysian King Said Tutara and the Malaysian Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badwi focused on expanding horizons of the bilateral cooperation. The president exchanged with Malaysian leader viewpoints towards thelatest regional, Islamic and international developments of common concern and the stances of the two countries toward the Islamic solidarity enhancement. They have also discussed the ongoing arrangements so for holding the meeting of foreign ministers of the Organization of the Islamic Conference to be held in Sana’a next June. NA/TNSABA
