President Saleh attends funeral of brigadier general

SANA’A, April 27 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh attended on Tuesday the funeral of Ali bin Ali Hussein al-Anesi, the former director of the Soldiers and Reserves Department. At the funeral Saleh said: our hearts go out to the family and all relatives of the late brigadier general. In his eulogy, Saleh said that the departed was a fellow during the revolution and other turning points in Yemen’s history, praising his efforts during his life to serve the nation. Parliament Speaker Yahya al-Ra’e, Defense Minister Muhammad Nasser Ahmed, Chief of Staff Ahmed al-Ashwal and other military commanders attended the funeral. FRSaba
