President Saleh attends Coast Guards graduation ceremony

ADEN, Dec 12 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh attended on Tuesday the graduation ceremony of the 3rd batch from the Coast Guard TrainingInstitute in Aden. Saleh delivered a speech in which he congratulated the graduates, thanking the institute administration and interior ministry for the good preparation for this ceremony and its graduates who would carry the responsibility of guarding the Yemeni coasts 2200 Km. Saleh said that during 2007 and 2008 we will complete the needs of coastguard bodies calling addressing the Cost Guards individuals that it’s a big responsibility to protect the Yemen costs. In the next two years 2007 and 2008 we will finalize the requirements of the cost guards bodies, now it is a big responsibility to catch whoever may try to sneak or contraband through the Yemeni coasts. Saleh expressed his thanks for Yemen’s friends from UK, USA, France, and Italy for their support for interior minister in preparing and training the Yemeni security forces specialized in the coastal guards.
