President Saleh attends ceremony of OCC
SANA’A, August 29 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh attended on Tuesday a ceremony organized by the Development Orphans Foundation on the occasion of graduation of a number of new batches from President Saleh’s Orphans Care Center. The graduated beaches are specialized in computer, furniture, sewing, electronics, electricity and leathers make-up. In the ceremony, Saleh delivered a speech thanking the center leadership and teachers for their efforts to rehabilitate orphans students in this center. I am so pleased for what I have seen this day. I ordered the ministry of technical education to support such centers, said Saleh. He announced that 22 technical institutes would be opened soon to rehabilitate the cadres to cover the labor market needs. Saleh ordered to allocate YR 500 million for the center under the care of the foundation’s deputy director Hamid Ziad to grant the students so that they can continue their technical study and become productive. President Saleh expressed his thanks for Mecca Charitable Organization(MCO) that bails 7000 orphans, briefing that the organization would also bail 2000 orphans from the Orphans School in Taiz. Ziad delivered a speech, welcoming president Saleh, pointing out that the orphans care is a humanitarian duty ordered by Islam. He said, since the establishment of the foundation, we seek to support and rehabilitate more orphans that reached now 20,000 from nationwide. On the other hand, the director of Mecca Charitable Organization (MCO)in KSA Muhsin al-Awgi delivered a speech affirming the orphans care isone of the principles of any civilization. The ceremony attended by the minister of social affairs Amat al-Razaq Humad and other senior officials. TD/NS SABA
