President Saleh asserts Yemen stand supporting Iraqi sovereignty

SANA’A, Jan. 06 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh emphasized here on Sunday, during his meeting with the Iraqi deputy Interior Minister for police affairs Aydin Khaled, the Yemeni firm stand on supporting the unity, sovereignty and stability of Iraq. The Iraqi official handed over a letter to the president from the Iraqi prime minister Nuri al-Maliki on the mutual ties and fields of joint cooperation between Yemen and Iraq mainly in the security field. Saleh affirmed the significance of conformity among all the Iraqi people and political factions to accomplish the Iraq’s interests. TD/AF Saba
