President Saleh arrives in London for donors conference

LONDON, Nov. 15(Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh arrived in London on Wednesday heading senior Yemeni delegation to the donors conference that will start today in the British capital for discussing Yemen’s development needs. Saleh was received by senior British officials and Yemen ambassador to Britain. He said upon arrival that he is optimistic about the donors conference for Yemen and that he hopes that the Gulf states in particular and the world countries and organizations in general support Yemen in its plans to fight poverty, unemployment and terrorism. President Saleh thanked all countries and institutions which contributed to preparing for the London donors conference. FR/NS
