President Saleh announces Yemen’s support to Oman in the aftermath of Cyclone Gonu

SANA’A, June 7 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh held a telephone conversation on Thursday with Sultan of Oman Qaboos Bin Saeed during which he got assured about the situation in Oman after Cyclone Gonu incident that hit a number of regions there. President Saleh expressed his warmest condolence on behalf of Yemeni people and government for Sultan Qaboos and Omani people. He announced Yemen’s stand beside of brothers in Oman to put all potential at their service, and readiness to provide what Oman needs to confront damages caused by this cyclone. The Sultan of Oman got President Saleh assured of the situation, expressing his appreciation for President Saleh for his brotherly feeling he expressed toward what has been faced by Oman due to this storm.
