President returns home from Cairo

Sana’a, June 26 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh returned back home from Cairo Sunday where he was on a brief visit holding talks with his Egyptian counterpart Mohammed Hossni Mubarak. The two leaders discussed the bilateral relations, cooperation, the agenda of next Tuesday’s meeting of OIC foreign ministers and the regional developments of common concern. Regionally, the two presidents focused on Palestine, Iraq and the Horn of Africa. On Sunday, the two leaders also held talks in Sharm El-Sheikh resort on means of enhancing cooperation between the two brotherly countries in different fields.They agreed to activate the function of the joint committee and emphasized the importance of the increase of bilateral trade exchange.
