President receives Somali speaker

ADEN, Dec. 07(Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh received in the Presidential Palace in Aden on Thursday the Somali Speaker of the Parliament Sharif Hasan Adam who acquainted him with the recent developments in Somalia demonstrated by the critical political and security situations. Adam highly valued the efforts exerted by president Saleh for the sake of the Somali security, peace and stability, calling him to mediate in order to terminate the Somali division for a permanent and inclusive consolidation. For his part, Saleh welcomed the Somali official, showing Yemen’s readiness to maintain efforts so as to achieve the overall Somali consolidation and to settle down security and stability. AM/AH SABA
