President receives phone call from German FM

SANA’A,Jan.26 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on Tuesday a phone call from German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle. In the phone conversation, the two sides discussed the bilateral relations and areas of joint cooperation between the two countries in addition to the preparations for London meeting on Yemen to be held on Wednesday. The German foreign minister confirmed his country’s support to Yemen during the London meeting so as to ensure to come out with decisions that affirm support for Yemen and enhance its security and economic capacities. For his part, President Saleh praised the German position and the generous support presented by Germany to the development process and democracy in Yemen. BA Saba
