President receives letter from Somali president

SANA’A, July 26(Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh received a letter on Wednesday from Somali president Abdullah Yusuf. The letter dealt with the current situations in Somalia and bilateral relations between the two countries. The letter was handed over by Somali Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Hussein Mohammed Farah Aideed during his meeting with president. The deputy premier voiced appreciation of the Somalia government for Yemeni stand toward maintaining security and stability in Somalia. He said that “the historical Aden declaration” formed a strong ground for reconciliation and peace in Somalia. President Saleh renewed Yemen’s stance which supports efforts exerted to realize peace and stability in Somalia. He asked the Somali minister to convey his regards to Somali president Abdullah Yusuf.
