President receives letter from Pakistani president

SANA’A, – President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on Sunday a letter from his Pakistani counterpart Pervez Musharaf. The letter concerned with brotherly relations and ways of boosting mutual cooperation between the two countries. In his letter, Musharaf wished president Saleh good health and Yemeni people more progress and prosperity. The letter was exerted by Pakistani Information Minster Mohammed Darani, who is heading the Pakistani delegation to Sana’a Conference on Democracy, Political Reform and Freedom of Expression, during his meeting with the president. In the meeting, president Saleh discussed with the Pakistani minister the latest developments in the region and issues of common concern in addition to agenda of the conference. The president Saleh praised Yemeni-Pakistani relations between two countries, pointing out to outcomes of his visit to Pakistan last year as well as the visit of Pakistani president to Yemen.
