President receives Emir of Qatar

DOHA, Qatar, Dec. 01 (Saba)-President Ali Abdullah Saleh received in Doha on Friday Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani. PresidentSaleh is visiting Qatar in official several -day visit. The Emir of Qatar welcomed president Saleh in Qatar, affirming concern of his country to enhance ties with Yemen in different fields. He also congratulated president on success of the London meeting which was held in London last month to collect funds for supporting developmentin Yemen. President Saleh expressed thanks for the Emir of Qatar for warm welcome and hospitality, congratulating Qatar for well preparation for hostingAsia Games. He highlighted level of good relations between Yemen and Qatar, appreciating support offered by Qatar in the London meeting.
