President receives Dialogue of Civilizations medal

MOSCOW, Oct 5, (Saba)- The Trustees Council of Russia National Glory Center has decided to award President Ali Abdullah Saleh the Dialogue of Civilizations. During a meeting with Yemen’s Ambassador to Russia Abdul-Wahab al-Rawhani, the center chairman Vladimir Yakonen said that President Saleh will deservingly be a laureate of the Dialogue of Civilizations in view of his leadership-oriented character and significant contribution to the international reaction of civilizations. He highly assessed the efforts of President Ali Abdullah Saleh in keeping peace in diverse societies and cited President Saleh’s unique method of fighting terrorism, mainly through theological reeducation of hard-line preachers and militants.
