President receives delegation of Arab parliament

SANA’A, Feb.21 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on Sunday a delegation of Arab Parliament to follow up the initiative of Yemen to activate the joint Arab work headed by chairman of the foreign and national security section at the Parliament.The delegation highly appreciated position of the President Ali Abdullah Saleh toward Arab issues in the top of which is Palestinian issue, pointing out to the efforts of Yemen to enhance the Arab joint work.The delegation also indicated to the initiative of Yemen to activate the Arab joint work, which would contribute to set up the Arab Union. It also said that the security of Yemen is part of national Arab security, pointing out to the achievements taken place in the country.President Saleh welcomed the delegation, valuing role of the Arab parliament to improve the Arab joint work, saying that the Yemeni initiative based on the national responsibility of Yemen and its concern to enhance the Arab joint work.AH
