President receives Cuban state scientific advisor

SANA’A, June 13 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh received here on Wednesday the Cuban scientific advisor of the State Council Fidle Castro who conveyed to Saleh greetings of the Cuban President Fidle Castro and his wishes of sustainable health, expressing his congratulations for the public confidence he got in the last September presidential elections. The Cuban official showed his country’s keenness to improve the overall cooperation relations with Yemen, renewing his country’s support for Arab issues. For his part, President Saleh welcomed Castro, assuring him of Yemen keenness to improve joint cooperation relations between Yemen and Cuba in different fields, specially in fields of medicine, higher education and energy. He noted the growing Yemeni-Cuban relations as well as the Cuban positions toward Arab issues, asking the Cuban official to convey his greeting to President Castro. AM/AM Saba
