President receives Asian sports official

SANA’A, Dec 20 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on Saturday chairman of the Asia Football Federation (AFF) for Mohammed bin Hamam and accompanying delegation who is currently visiting Yemen. During the meeting, President Saleh discussed with the delegation cooperation supporting sports in Yemen. President Saleh decorated the sporting official the medal of merits for his distinguished supporting for Yemeni football. For his part, Hamam expressed his pleasure with the medal, wishing further progress for Yemeni sports movement. AH/NM SABA
