President phones Saudi, Syrian leaders over regional developments

MUKALLA, Feb. 01 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh made two phone calls on Friday with Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King of Saudi Arabia Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz and Syrian President Bashar al-Assad over current developments in the region. During the phone conversations, president Saleh also discussed with the two leaders situations in Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq as well as results of the recent meeting of the Arab foreign ministers which was held in Cairo. Bilateral relations and mutual cooperation between Yemen and the two countries were discussed as well. AH/AM Saba
