President orders to distribute free irrigation nets

SANA’A,(Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh gave orders to distribute modern government-funded irrigation nets for more than 3,000 hectares
during next year.

The distribution of such irrigation nets will help rationalize the use of water by reducing the quantity of used for agriculture by 50%, chairman
of the agricultural cooperative union Mohammad Basheer stated.

The General Assembly of the public association for watering facilities will hold on Saturday a meeting to discuss the procedures of implementing
president instructions, Basheer added.
