President orders establishment of regional bones hospital
SANA’A, April 29 (Saba)- At the ordering of President Ali Abdullah Saleh, the Ministry of Public Health is intending to establish a full-fledged regional hospital for treatment of osteoporosis and other bone diseases. “It will be one of the most modern hospitals in the region,” a senior public health official said. Cuban experts will supervise the establishment of the hospital. “It will have a seating capacity for 224 beds as a first phase and will have state-of-the-art equipment.” In the second phase, however, the beds will increase to 300 and brain surgery sections will be introduced to the hospital.
