President opens gallery shows on Israeli aggressions in Palestine, Lebanon
SANA’A, Aug. 14 (Saba)-President Ali Abdullah Saleh opened on Monday a gallery of plastic arts reflecting the Israeli massacres in Palestine and Lebanon. The gallery was organized in solidarity with the two Arab peoples. Some 40 artists are taking part in the gallery to show works expressing the suffering of the two peoples due to the Israeli daily crimes in Palestineand horrible destruction in Lebanon in one month. The pictures show children,women and old men who were killed or evacuated or become disabled because of using prohibited weapons by Israeli forces. President Saleh said that the gallery was a good initiative to show solidarityw ith Palestinian and Lebanese peoples, giving orders to transport the portraits of the gallery to the “Resistance Tent” to sell them in favor of supporting the two Arab peoples.
