President meets head of Arab and Italian Trade Team

ROME,(Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh held talks Friday with the head of the Arab and Italian Trade team, board chairman of Semast Company for Foreign Investments and foreign relation officials in Italian industrial associations. In the meeting, trade relations between Yemen and Italy and chances of investments in Yemen in fields of tourism, oil, gas and fish, were discussed. The Italian officials expressed their desire to invest in Yemen, pointing out that the visit of the president Saleh to Italy would open widen horizons of commercial exchanging with Yemen and push Italian businessmen to invest in Yemen in different sectors. Meanwhile, President Saleh visited Alien Marconi company a manufacturer of Italian radars and defense telecommunication systems. AH/AA SABA
