President meets delegation of NCUSAR

SANA’A, April 21 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on Monday delegation of National Council on US-Arab Relations (NCUSAR) headed by John Anthony, the head of the council. Saleh discussed with the US delegation Yemeni-American relations and role of the NCUSAR in promoting Arab-American relations as well as developments in the area and international efforts for fighting terrorism. The delegation expressed pleasure for visiting Yemen and seeing urban development and democratic dynamics in the country, highlighting country’s efforts in combating terror and supporting international efforts in this field. They indicated that their existence in Yemen reflects American desire in developing cooperation and friendly relations with Yemeni people in different fields, affirming that they will return to their country carrying good impression on the historical and democratic Yemen. Saleh, for his part, welcomed American visiting delegation, affirming Yemen’s keenness on developing relations and cooperation with the United States for serving interests of the two countries.
