President meets Cuban official

SANA’A, Jan 15 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh met here on Thursday with Member of the Cuban ruling party’s politburo and State Council Bidro Ross Layal. During the meeting Layal conveyed a letter from the Cuban president Fidel Castro to the President Ali Abdullah Saleh dealing with the Yemeni-Cuban relations and the latest international developments. President Saleh hailed the Yemeni-Cuban as progressing friendly ties. JW/KM
