President meets British businesspersons, welcome their investments

LONDON, August 26 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh held talks Thursday with representatives of Middle East Association including businesspersons and leaders of British companies, in his residence in London. The representatives warmly welcomed President Saleh expressing wishes of stronger Yemeni-British ties. The meeting pointed out to topics of enhancing trade partnership between Yemen and UK and fields where British companies can invest in Yemen. President Saleh highlighted the level of the relations between Yemen and the UK calling for development of cooperation to serve the interests of both nations. He British investors were especially welcome to invest in the development of Aden refineries and oil and gas facilities and in Aden Free Zone. AH/AA
