President informed of latest threats to al-Quds

SANA’A August 15 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh received on Saturday a letter form the Chairman of the Trustees Council of Al-Quds Institution Dr. Yussuf al-Qardawi. In the letter, al-Kardawi informs President Saleh of the situations in the Palestinian territories and the latest threats against the al-Quds Mosque posed by Israeli extremist groups as the Israeli interior minister had revealed. The letter summons a Moslem reaction to the threats. Al-Qardawi also says” we are pleading you to move quickly to use the political and diplomatic pressure to stop this criminal plot (of attack against al-Quds)”. NA/AASABA
