President directs to set up further media

SANA’A, April 16 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh has directed the concerned authorities to set up the Hadramout-based official 30 November Newspaper and Hadramout Cultural Satellite Channel, a well-informed source said on Friday. The source added the President’s directives were made as he was visiting Hadramout province several days ago. The source confirmed the directives were designed by the President to display the developmental activities and cultural characters of Hadramout. The Yemeni government is running several daily newspapers, more than 10 radio stations which can broadcast locally and four satellite channels. Sana’a radio and Aden radio broadcast via the satellites beside the Yemen TV space channels. YA Saba
