President directs to complete procedures to launch Hadramout TV Channel

MUKALA, July 19 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh directed on Monday the Information Ministry to speedily complete the procedures to launch Hadramout Satellite Channel. This came during the President’s meeting with a number of legislators, scholars, political parties’ leaders, and social figures in Hadramout province. Issues and topics that concern the people in Hadramout were discussed in the meeting, in addition to the service and developmental projects witnessed by the province. During the meeting, President Saleh stressed the importance of enhancing the role of scholars to guide the society members and introduce them to the high values of Islam and immunize them against deviant and extremist thoughts. He pointed out the significance of concerted efforts to combat terrorism, as it is a threat to the security, stability and development. Hadramout has witnessed growing demands by investors for investment, Saleh pointed out, indicating that maintaining the climate of security and stability is an important factor for attracting investors to invest in this province and other provinces in the country.
