President congratulates Mauritanian leader over success of elections

RIYADH, March 29 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh congratulated on Thursday chairman of the Mauritanian Military Council Eley Ould Mohamed Vall on success of the Mauritanian presidential election. During his meeting with the Mauritanian leader, President Saleh said that Mauritanian democratic experience deserves appreciation, confirming concern of Yemen to enhance its ties with Mauritania in different fields. The two leaders discussed aspects of the mutual cooperation between the two countries. They also exchanged views over agenda of the 19th Arab summit, which is being held on Thursday in Riyadh, affirming joint interest of enhancing horizons of cooperation to serve interests of both peoples.
