President congratulates Bush on reelection

SANA’A, Nov 4 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh sent on Thursday a cable of good wishes to US President George W Bush for winning a second term in the White House. “On behalf of me and the Government and the people of Yemen, It is my pleasure to congratulate you on the friendly American people’s trust of you in a new term,” read the cable. President Saleh stressed in the cable the commitment of Yemen to the cooperation with the United States in the fight against terrorism and democratic reforms. He expressed his hope the US Administration pushes peace in the Mideast region, enforce the Roadmap plan and other international resolutions resolving the Arab-Israeli conflict and restoring stability in Iraq.
