President condoles the ruler of Abu Dhabi

SANA’A, Nov. 2 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh sent a cable of condolenceson Tuesday to Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan al-Nahayan, ruler ofAbu Dhabi, on the death of President of United Arab Emirates Sheikh Zayedbin Sultan al-Nahayan. In his cable, President Saleh extended the Yemeni people heartfelt condolencesto the UAE people to the UAE people and Sheikh Zayed’s family for thedemise of a great Arab leader who ruled his country with wisdom. He saidthat Sheikh Zayed devoted his efforts to support and strengthen solidarityamong Islamic and Arab countries. President Saleh also sent a same cable to UAE Vice president Sheikh Maktoumbin Rashid al-Maktoum. AH/TN
