President calls youths to utilize holiday by joining summer camps

SANA’A, June 18 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh called on Wednesday youths to get advantage of summer holiday by going to summer camps.During his meeting with directors of the sports, youths and education offices across the country, president Saleh affirmed importance of utilizing summer holiday by organizing cultural and sports event to improve skills and creativities of youths. The directors briefed the president on activities of their offices for youths during the summer holiday which aim at preparing the youths spiritually, physically and spreading national culture and principles of democracy and freedom among youths.President Saleh pointed out to the role of all, especially family and mosque to educate new generations on value and tolerance and rejection for extremism.President Saleh urged ministry of education, ministry of sports and youths and ministry of technical education and vocational training to shoulder their responsibilities to set up summer camps for youths, calling on intellectuals to organize lectures for youths to protect them from wrong thoughts.AH
