President calls kidnappers to set US and French journalists free

SANA’A, Jan. 27 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh called on Thursday kidnapers of two American and French journalists, Rowi Halmoz and Florence Aubenas in Iraq to set them free. President Saleh said that such act does not meet with Islam and humanitarian principles, adding that such acts would not serve interests because it targeted innocence people who came to Iraq for seeking job or covering news. The call of the President Saleh came after the appeal of the US journalist for Arab leaders to call on the kidnapers to release him. AH/AH SABA
