President bids farewell to French ambassador

SANA’A, Sep 22 (Saba) – President Ali Abdullah Saleh held a farewell meeting Monday for the French ambassador to Sana’a Pierre Boilot on occasion of ending his missions in the country. During the meeting, they reviewed aspects of the bilateral relations and fields of mutual co-operation between the two countries. President Saleh highlighted level of the Yemeni- French ties, pointing out to efforts of the ambassador in bolstering relations between the two countries during time of his work in Yemen. He wished him success in his future missions and got him to convey his regards to Jacques Chirac. The French ambassador expressed his thanks and appreciations for the support he received from the Yemeni people file and tank on top of which is President Saleh. He wished Yemen more progress and for the Yemeni-French bilateral relations stepping further towards wider horizons. AH/NM/SS SABA
