President begins European tour on Sunday

SANA’A, Nov 20 (Saba)- President Ali Abdullah Saleh is due to visit Germany on Sunday as part of a tour in Europe that will also include Germany, Italian and Vatican. Foreign Minister Abu Bakr al-Qerbi said in a press statement that President Saleh’s tour will be part of a diplomatic move to exchange views with the leaders of the nation. He said that talks would focus on security, terror fighting, Coast Guards, Arab-Israeli conflict, state-building in Somalia, peace in Sudan and Roadmap implementation in the Mideast region. “On the sideline of President Saleh’s visit, Yemen, Italy and Turkey will convene in the Future Forum to be held in the Moroccan capital Morocco in December.” AA/AA SABA
